Quality Control Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our clients QC function, strengthen our standards, and ensure every product meets the highest levels of quality, safety, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on improving processes, developing teams, and working collaboratively across departments, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality Control team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support.
- Oversee and enforce quality procedures, standards, and specifications for incoming materials and manufactured products.
- Approve product status and release through the Manufacturing/ERP system.
- Investigate non‑conformances and customer complaints, ensuring timely root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality documentation, technical files, and retained samples.
- Monitor and report on key quality KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and enhance quality performance.
- Support the creation of a unified Global Quality Standard alongside group QC Managers.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, legislation, and industry requirements.
- Identify training needs, develop staff capability, and manage change within the department.
- Maintain and update quality standards, testing methods, and documentation systems.
Job Related Skills
- Scientific knowledge: A background in chemistry or a related field.
- Working knowledge of GC/QC testing
- Technical skills: Experience with laboratory equipment.
- Problem-solving: The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail.
- Teamwork: The ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
